About Us

The Aturkimi Academy is a Co-educational day cum semi-residential institution established on 10th February 2007. It proposes new National Education Policy (NEP) 2019 circular and pedagogical structure, with 5+3+3+4 design covering the children in the age group 3 to 18 years. Under this, Pre-Primary & Grade 1-2 considered as Foundational Stage; Grades 3-5 as Preparatory Stages; Grades 6-8 as Middle Stage and Grades 9-12 as Secondary Stages.

The School is set in the town of Diphu, where children can grow and attain their maximum potential. The school provides equal opportunities for learners from different section of society irrespective of caste, community and religion. The school provides digital smart class room for latest information related to the syllabus of the students.

Keeping in view the harmonious development of the whole personality of a child, our aims have been concentrated on the following areas.

The Academy has classes from Montessori to Class X (Ten) this year but classes will be upgraded up to secondary level i.e. 10+2 standard in future.

The school has the curriculum of teaching learning which is designed as per the guidelines of CBSE, We have a standard student's teacher's ratio with not more then 30 students in each class to enable to pay special individual attention to the weaker students, The education is imparted by well qualified and dedicated experienced teachers with adaptation of modern teaching learning Aids with latest Educational Technology to mould their quality education and all round personality development.

To bring forth the hidden talents of a child the creative activities are given more importance to provide a preliminary training on their favorite vocational subjects in order to inculcate proficiency in their respective skill. Among the hobbies we have:

2) CAD: Basic of computer.

3) Drama:: Mono acting, Mine acting, Play etc.

In additional to the above hobbies we have other organized groups under the guardian of experienced teacher for various activities like:

4) The Art & Craft Society

5) The Science Club.

6) Eco Club

Along with these activities we have a regular feature of Educational Trips and Camps 

Each and every student is urged to contribute the high tone of the school discipline by his/her manner. Parents are requested to co-operate with the school authority to maintain a high standard of discipline. To promote it boys are allowed to have only formal haircut and girls are not allowed to put nail polish, lipstick etc. if they are found to go against them they may forfeit their seats after giving two times warning. But if the students repeat the same mistake than the school has the right to expel the student.
